These new extensions are related to OpenGL 4.3 (ARB ones) and to OpenGL ES 3.0 (OES ones).

I quickly updated GPU Caps Viewer (will be release very shortly) to take into account this new version of OpenGL:Ĭompared to R304.48, this new driver exposes 34 new extensions for a total of 335 OpenGL extensions (GL=309 and WGL=26).

You can download the Windows and Linux versions from THIS PAGE. OpenGL 4.3 is available on GeForce GTX 400, GTX 500 and GTX 600. Supports multiple languages and APIs for GPU computing: CUDA C, CUDA C++, CUDA Fortran, OpenCL, DirectCompute, and Microsoft C++ AMP.

Supports DisplayPort 1.2 for GeForce GTX 600 series GPUs.

I am trying to programme a simple OpenGL sample (just a triangle in a glut windows), but I am unable because GL/gl.h is outdated: the current header is the mesa with openGL 1.3, which does nos support. Supports OpenGL 4.3 for GeForce 400-series and later GPUs. 3D acceleration work and the driver seem to support OpenGL 4.3. On a note, I do not use glWaitSync as suggested in the paper, instead I perform glWaitClient sync polling (interleaved with new upload calls) on the “Upload” thread before signaling the drawing thread.OpenGL 4.3 specifications have been released yesterday at SIGGRAPH 2012 and NVIDIA gives us the first OpenGL 4.3 capable driver for those who want to play with new OpenGL stuff. I have currently the NVidia driver (319) installed from the repository. What could be causing this behavior? Could it be a bug in the drivers? And how can I debug it? Nsight doesn’t seem to work with the OpenGL 4.3 drivers, and glDebugMessageCallbackARB doesn’t work without.

I have also tried removing all drawing calls in the “Render” thread, but it makes no difference. AIML chung is an full AIML1.0 based standalone chat bot engine trial with dll, tts / espeak speech voices, synonyms substitutions, maths parser and 3D photorealistics openGL avatars written in compiled freebasic.Comes with GUI window and console examples, 3D world mode and a dll version to use with other programming languages like c++ or.

If I remove glTextureSubImage2DEXT from the code then I get no warnings (and no uploads). I do not understand how any of these could cause the warning. The only OpenGL calls the “Upload” thread performs are, glGenTextures, glGenBuffers, glMapNamedBufferRangeEXT(…, GL_MAP_WRITE_BIT | GL_MAP_INVALIDATE_BUFFER_BIT), glUnmapNamedBufferEXT, glBindBuffer(GL_PIXEL_UNPACK_BUFFER, …), glTextureSubImage2DEXT, and finally glFenceSync. Since I have only one copy engine on my Quadro 2000M, I plan to use the same context for both uploads and downloads, as soon as I get this working properly. I have 3 different OpenGL contexts (“Render”, “Download”, “Upload”) on different threads created using wglCreateContextAttribsARB, where the shared RC is the “Render” context. I have verified that the glDebugMessageCallbackARB providing the warning is invoked on the “Upload” thread after calling the glFenceSync function. However, when doing uploads I keep receiving the “Pixel transfer is synchronized with 3D rendering” warning on the upload thread. I’m currently trying to implement Asynchronous GPU Transfers, based on the paper on a Quadro 2000M with OpenGL 4.3 Beta Notebook drivers.Īsynchronous rendering and downloads seem to work as they should.
